Workshop on Spanish everyday terms used in different regions, such as Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

This four-hour terminology virtual workshop will delve into everyday terms used in Spanish from different regions, namely, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, with some phraseological “false friends” included. Participants will be able to identify Spanish variations/different equivalents of one English word depending on the region where Spanish is spoken. A terminology development section is included as part of the introduction.
